Random Acts Of Kindness
We can pretty much agree on the fact that these past couple years have been quite a challenging period for us all. Trying to adapt to changes whilst continuing life has been a rollercoaster. For some, it may have been easier but for others, it may have been harder. Big or little it does not matter we have all encountered challenges.
On the 17th of February every year it is ‘National Random Act of Kindness Day’. It is an important day we should all spread more awareness and know about. This day is a great opportunity to take a step back and reflect on the importance of kindness. Acts of kindness can reduce stress, increase happiness, and improve our emotional wellbeing. Listed below are a few examples of acts of kindness that can make a difference.

In addition, do not forget to be kind to yourself too, kindness is not just for each other but also ourselves. It is very crucial to take some time out for just yourself. For example, this can be an opportunity to,
- Relax and reflect on how you are feeling
- Treat yourself to something small or big
- Buy or plant some flowers
- Do something you enjoy (dancing, singing, drawing, baking etc)
- Walk around and spend time in nature
Being kind is for everyone. Seeing the impact of our act on another can lighten and lift not only ours but also their whole day. Furthermore, inspire others to do the same. A little bit of kindness can go a long way.
